ReadyTracker® - Tissue Helps Local Medical Center Pass A Second Joint Commission Evaluation

Birmingham, AL - A local medical center recently passed another Joint Commission evaluation of its tissue management process, and IMS' ReadyTracker® - Tissue played an integral role. When one surveyor asked the Education / QA Coordinator of Surgical Services how the facility would trace tissue in case of a recall, the coordinator explained that she could quickly search the tissue program because the software makes the process efficient. She went on to explain that the program is secure since nurses have a user ID and password. The surveyor was satisfied that the facility had everything under control. Perhaps the coordinator's enthusiastic comment about ReadyTracker® Tissue put it all in perspective when she said, "Ooooo, I just love this program!"
