Media Gets the Message: Act As if Your Loved One is On the Table

When the CEO of IMS was profiled in Birmingham Magazine recently, the reporter began by focusing on the company's Prime Directive. "Signs throughout the building urge employees to, "Act as if your loved one is on the table," the article states. " 'If you care about your loved one, then you need to care about that instrument being there and working properly when the surgical team is ready for it,' IMS president and CEO Gene Robinson says. 'That's not a statement that just looks good on the wall. That's what we believe'."
