Quality of IMS Repairs
The repairs performed by IMS - like the parts used in the repairs - are equivalent to the repairs performed by the original manufacturer. We utilize state-of-the art equipment and proven repair procedures developed by professionals with decades of experience in surgical device refurbishment.
IMS has invested in an extremely high level of technology that includes laser welders, infrared soldering machines, and precision tube cutters. IMS' commitment to returning devices to original performance standards dictates that we invest in this level of technology. This dedication allows us to keep pace with newer advances such as autoclavable endoscopes.
When the repair is completed, every device is tested to ensure compliance with performance standards. This is accomplished by experienced lead technicians using sophisticated testing equipment.
As an example, specially configured test setups and stand-alone test devices measure optical and illumination quality for all repaired scopes.
