Service Turn-Around Time and Equipment Protection

Approximately how long will our equipment be in transit while out for repair?

Your local IMS representative will pick up your equipment the same day we receive your call. This assures the immediate initiation of the repair process. The equipment will ship via FedEx priority overnight to the designated IMS facility for repair.

When the repair is complete, it will again be shipped FedEx priority overnight to your local IMS representative, who will personally deliver the equipment to you the day it is received.

How much time is required to complete a repair?

80% of IMS repairs are completed and returned to you within 48 hours of pick-up (with your pre-approval).

Different repairs may require more time. Turn-around time for major repairs, including pick-up, repair, and delivery, will typically not exceed one week. This turn-around time begins when the representative receives a pre-approved repair, or when a quote is provided and approved by you.

If more than 48 hours is required to repair your equipment, IMS has multiple options to meet your needs:

  • Extensive rigid endoscope loaner pool
  • Repair / Exchange programs customized to your inventory requirements

What is your liability insurance coverage?

Integrated Medical Systems International, Inc. insures your equipment from the time of pick-up to the time of delivery. IMS maintains $2,000,000 in liability coverage and $10,000,000 in umbrella general liability coverage.
