IMS carries an extensive inventory of components and materials for power equipment. IMS buys the highest quality replacement parts from the world’s best and most reputable component manufacturers. This allows IMS to repair devices so that they meet the original performance standards.

In some situations, IMS cannot obtain original component parts from medical component manufacturers. In most cases, IMS engineers and scientists design replacement parts equivalent to the original performance standards.

Using sophisticated equipment such as the SmartScope®, IMS engineers utilize Advanced Component Engineering^TM to precisely measure all electrical and mechanical properties. Material properties are also quantified to meet the original performance standards.

Once the part parameters have been identified, IMS uses its state-of-the-art fabrication capabilities to create unavailable replacement components. IMS programs its machinery and creates parts that match the original performance standards. IMS has highly sophisticated machinery such as CNC mills, lathes, etc. to fabricate these parts. One such machine is the Mazak Integrex®. The Mazak Integrex is a highly advanced machine, which allows IMS to make complex parts very quickly and with a high degree of accuracy. Investment in state-of-the-art fabrication capabilities, like the Mazak Integrex, is advantageous because IMS can generate replacement component parts in-house, service the equipment, and return the equipment to the customer quickly. IMS also tests the parts we make in-house to ensure functionality and performance.
