Our technical staff includes degreed professionals in the following disciplines:

Several of these scientists / engineers hold advanced degrees in their respective fields and bring an abundance of industry experience to IMS. In addition, numerous patents are held by IMS scientists, with 18 patents in particular that are related to endoscope optical design.

Describe the training and validation processes
for your repair technicians.

IMS technicians, many of whom join IMS with previous manufacturer experience, receive training from veteran lead technicians who have specific expertise in their particular field. Certain core skills such as channel gluing, soldering, and brazing are designated as "special processes." "Special processes" are not only trained skills, but are annually validated for continued compliance as part of the IMS Quality System.

Levels of IMS Flexible Endoscope Technicians:

  • Technician 1
  • Technician 2
  • Master Technician

Repair processes and procedures are developed by a cross-functional team of production and engineering personnel. This team ensures that all repair processes and procedures are consistent with technological advances in the market.

Technicians are validated on repair procedures to ensure consistency of repair.
